Tile Service Company in Redding California

We’re gonna do a review of the small business owners here in Redding, California.

Okay. We’re gonna do this business here. We’re gonna review this business. They are called Ryno Tile and Stone Works. So, yep, nice little flyer. Actually, a pretty cool logo. You can see here, the logo right is dead center, and I kind of like the logo. 

The front is nice, it’s clear, it’s not too much text, and it’s got some pictures, proof of work. That’s always great. And then in the back, it’s got some simple bullet points. 

A little bit too much text in the back. And they do have a website. So, that, I’m excited about. Thank God, they have a website.

So, we’re gonna go here, and the first thing we would start with is their brand. How are they showing up under their brand? That’s always the first phase of digital marketing. And their website shows up first. Yay. 

We got website up top. That’s good. And then we’ve got a GBP over here. No reviews. Kind of a bummer. I could be the first to review, but yeah, so, that’s kind of a bummer. Nothing really going on there.

They probably have some activity on their Facebook. It looks like they’ve got two followers, or two here. Really bad Yelp review. 

They should do something about that. At least reply, or at least send, like, three of their best, you know, current clients to go leave them a review on that, to kind of drain that out. Or maybe another 5, and then bump it up to 4.5 stars. But having just one review, one star, doesn’t look too good.

But, since we’re talking SEO, let’s go to their website. I wanna check out their website. Yeah, we’ll go to the website here. Oh, boy. Oh, my goodness. 

Okay, yeah. Hmm. So, the obvious, obviously this is interesting. This is a very rough, as a construction guy would say, this is rough. And, you know, obviously, this needs a professional redesign. So, it’s really bad. There’s, by the looks of the UX and the design, at least is canonicalized. 

Ryno Tile and Stone. That’s probably why they’re showing up in search, because they have their brand first and foremost as their title on their homepage. So, that’s good.

Tile contractor. And then it’s got their address inside of the title. This is just really poor. Really, really poor. There’s multiple H1. We have an empty header. [vocalizing 00:03:16.064] Empty header. On call seven days a week. It’s a horrible H1. So, yeah, just, no structure… 

We’ve got some structured…looks like Wix is probably just throwing that in there. So, local business, and that’s all they’ve got there. And then they’ve got a telephone for the structured data. They’ve got some gallery.

Oh, my goodness. This top banner is just… And, you know, the mobile experience is probably just clipping things off, so… Oh, goodness. Business owners, I might just reach out to this business owner and… I don’t know. I don’t wanna sound rude though, but this is really bad, guys. 

Like, the mobile experience is basically useless. At least you can contact them, though.
And, you know, they spent money on this. 

They spent money. I don’t know how much money they’re spending on this. And they spent some time, you know, coming up with this, and it’s unfortunate that they’re not spending more time, you know, working on this.

So, I think, you know, it’s pretty obvious this website’s probably not getting traffic. I could throw it into Ahrefs real quick. And here you see, point in case, there’s no SEO on their website, and they have little to no user experience. 

They probably shouldn’t even have a website at this point. Or they should just, really, just. Man, you know, a web designer, I could go in there, and in one hour, just have it look so much better.

They’re not ranking for…you can see these little [vocalization 00:05:03] you know, bumping up a little bit of keywords here and there. 

They’ve basically got no visibility, but it’s probably just their brand name. Flooring Redding, look at that. So, yeah, they’re way down, page 10, 11, on Flooring Redding. 

And Redding Tile and Stone, that’s another company, actually. And so, yeah, they’re really not showing up for anything that’s got traffic, so unfortunate.

If you’re the owner of this website and you ever see this video, I strongly recommend that, number one, you get your website off of Wix. Wix is okay. 

Actually, they’ve gotten a little bit better, but I would recommend WordPress or Squarespace. WordPress would be ideal, especially if you’re ever wanting to expand into selling product, selling tile and things like that, on your website, that would be really good.

But yeah, you can tell they spent some time on their logo, and they just did a slap-up job on their website. So, it’s unfortunate. They really don’t have any search traffic, and no visibility, but at least they have a website, and at least they have a Google Business Profile.
